Happy Valentine's Day from Still Woods Farmhouse! Did you know that Valentine's Day is the second most card giving time of the year? Grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy these Valentines from times gone by.
Do you think she is thinking of him? Love the dress!
I don't think his English teacher would approve but I love it!
Do you remember the great debate over who gets what card? I would lay all my cards out and decide which were the ones for the guys and which were the ones for the girls. Pressure at the age of 5!
This one is just plain ole sweet! I think I am going to say this to my husband today!
Here is one from long ago. She doesn't seem to have a problem with insecurity or is it the sender who is sure of himself?
Here is one for our aerospace engineering son! He was always wanting to make an "airoplane" when he was little!
Our youngest son loved "dally" dogs when he was little and had an extensive collection of stuffed dallies (dalmatians). One even was allowed to go into surgery with him! This one is for you Derek!
Another one from many years ago, although is this being sent to a love lost? "Keep the one I once called mine"...
Okay, on to a happy one. I bet Mrs. Jack Schwatrz was a happy girl when she received this on Valentine's Day in 1948. So sweet!
A career education Valentine's Day card! Hmmm . . . what if you hit "thief"? I declare a do-over!
Tennis anyone?
Sure . . .
Don't forget your favorite teacher!
Too cute!
Wishing you a day filled with sweetness and love! Blessings from Still Woods Farmhouse
